About Us

Brick Guru is an initiative to spread awareness of Lego and help kids learn and grow through this experience, further developing their motor and cognitive skills. Studies show that building helps children improve their hand eye coordination as well as concentration. Brick Guru is a business venture that also aims at extending its expertise to the less fortunate, by providing them with free classes, collaborations and collection drives. This gives them an opportunity to learn and expand their horizons in unchartered territories.

The UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4 :
"Ensure inclusive and equitable access to quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. "

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Vihaan Tannan is a grade 11 student studying at the Bombay International School. His passion for Lego and building started at the nascent age of 3 years. Through Brick Guru he strives to spread awareness about building and learning and how it has impacted him, shaping him into the person he is and how he continues to benefit through this experience. In school, every project whether science or humanities related, has an element of Lego interwoven into it, thereby enriching the learning experience. He started doing complex Legos at a very young age, he completed the Taj Mahal in 10 hours when he was 11 years old, exponentially increasing his level of concentration with every building experience. Quoting Frank lloyd Wright he believes, “Because nothing comes from nothing, and nothing goes entirely out of the world, you have to take things apart if you seek to put everything together.”

His endeavor is to help others take advantage of this unique learning tool which is untapped and under utilized. He also wants to help those who don't have access to Lego, teaching them and giving them the opportunity to play and learn.
